Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power Automate connector: deprecation of V2 triggers and actions

If you have created in the past workflows with Power Automate using the Dynamics 365 Business Central connector, probably you have used some of the connector’s actions marked as V2:

Starting from now, the V2 triggers and actions in the Power Automate connector will be hidden and they will be fully deprecated in a near future (probably next year). The change is rolling out gradually on all the regions. Please remember that this applies only to the Dynamics 365 Business Central online connector and this also applies to Azure Logic Apps workflows.

What should you do?

If you have workflows using the old V2 triggers and actions, you should replace them with the new V3 triggers and actions as soon as possible. Here is the list of the new V3 triggers:

All the existing workflow that you could have using old V2 triggers and actions will continue to work until the official fully deprecation date. If you have now a workflow using V2 actions and/or triggers, when you edit the workflow in Designer you will not be able to edit or modify any of the existing V2 actions and triggers, but if you want to change something on them you need to use the corresponding V3 action or trigger. Only saving an existing workflow with V2 actions works.

When the deprecation date is reached and the V2 actions and triggers will be fully removed from the connector (as said before, actual plans are 1 year from now) your flows will go on error, so please act accordingly ASAP 🙂
