Microsoft today has publicly announced the next generation of AI product updates across their business applications portfolio, including the launch of the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot providing interactive, AI-powered assistance across business functions.
Dynamics 365 Copilot takes advantage of recent advancements in generative AI to automate these tedious tasks and unlock the full creativity of the workforce. Dynamics 365 Copilot puts CRM and ERP to work for business users to accelerate their pace of innovation and improve business outcomes in every line of business.
What about Dynamics 365 Business Central?
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Business Central streamlines the creation of product listings for online commerce. Product attributes such as color, material and size can be used to create compelling product descriptions for online storefronts in seconds. The descriptions can be further tailored by choosing tone of voice, format and length. Business Central customers using Shopify can seamlessly publish the products with descriptions to their Shopify store in just a few clicks.
With this new AI-powered feature you will be able to upload an item from a picture and Dynamics 365 Business Central will suggest its description and category:
You can define the item attributes and then you can generate a marketing text from item attributes:
Copilot will use natural language technologies to give you a full text describing your item and enriched with data coming from your Item record:
You can then edit the generated text, copy it and also improve the generated description. If you click on the ellipsis you can specify the item attributes that need to be exposed in the description:
Select or deselect the desired attributes:
then select the desired format and click on Generate draft:
A new text will be generated accordingly to your selection:
If you change Emphasis, Style and Format, the AI engine changes the text accordingly:
When you have generated a text that is good for you, you can add the item to Shopify for example:
and the new item will be added to your shop together with the AI-generated marketing text:
