3 days until DynamicsMinds 2024 in Portoroz (Slovenia) starts, a 4 days community conference covering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform world in full in a mystical atmosphere based on witches, goblins, monsters, wizards and magical minds within the fairytale convention center overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
I will be at the conference waiting for you in the following sessions:
May 28 at 10:00 on Emerald I: Writing smarter Business Central apps with the power of Azure OpenAI and Copilot Dev Tools: we’ve planned an AI path strictly related to Dynamics 365 Business Central in this conference. You can start learning the basics of AI in BC in the first conference day by following the session by my friend Roberto Corella. In this session we’ll move a step over the basics and we’ll see how you can use more advanced (and new) AI features from inside Business Central to create real value in your AI solutions.
May 28 at 16:30 on Emerald I: High performance low-code workflows for Business Central: why Logic Apps is better than Power Automate: Are you a fan of low-code solutions and are you currently using Power Automate for everything, expecially for creating integrations with Dynamics 365 Business Central? Then probably you should attend this session 😉 In this session we’ll put the focus on Business Central integrations and we’ll see how some of the recently announced Azure Logic Apps feature will permit you to handle high performance workflows (also by showing some real-world samples). I think that this will be an interesting session for everyone working on low-code workflows, not only for Business Central people. You will learn that low-code is not always a synonymous of “performance”.
May 29 at 9:00 on Europa C: Business Central Telemetry loves Power Platform. And viceversa. This will be the session that I will handle with my partner in crime Duilio (he will be the main presenter here). In this session we will bridge three worlds that you usually have in a modern ERP project (Business Central, Telemetry and Power Platform) together and we’ll see how from a single ingestion resource you can monitor all these platform at best. In my part, I will put the focus on some new features for an advanced monitoring of your Power Automate flows.

Despite the official sessions, we will have lots of other moments for meetings. There will be an “Ask the expert” corner (I will be here for sure on Monday 27 from 14) and (recent news coming from the organizers, thanks for that) we’ll have also a “signing” corner for our recently published “Mastering Dynamics 365 Business Central 2nd Edition” book. If you have the book, I invite you to bring it to the conference and me and Duilio will be happy to sign it in a special way and take a picture with you. We’ll have also some copies to showcase.
Obviously, after that there are the parties… 🙂
See you in Portoroz in few days then. The Adriatic Sea is waiting for you…
