Carlos Segura has developed an interesting Rollup Webpart for Sharepoint. With this Webpart you can take any Sharepoint lists (Tasks, Announcements, custom lists etc.) and roll them up to your Sharepoint site.
The Webpart also checks the site's security so that if a user does not have access to a site or a list these data will not appear. The download is available from here.
