Just found another Firefox extension that solves a little problem that sometimes I have (expecially when I'm not on my machine).
Normally I use Firefox for all my operations on the net, but there are few times that I need to switch on Internet Explorer to perform the task in a better way. The task that requires me always to switch to IE to have a better environment is posting on a .Text blog by accessing the Admin Tab.
To post on a .Text powered Blog I use always some blogging tools like BlogJet or IMHO, but there are a lot of times that I'm not on my personal machines and I've not these tools on my hands, so the .Text interface is the only way to write on my Blog.
If you try to write a new post on a .Text powered Blog via Firefox, you'll see that the HTML textbox control used to write the post is not available in design view, but only with the HTML source code view. You've to write the post via its source html code, and for a long post it's not so simple... so what I've always done in these cases is open my IE and accessing the .Text Blog interface by using it (quite boring!).
Today by checking the Firefox extensions available I've discovered a nice little extension called IEView, that is a simple extension that allows the current page or a selected link to be opened in Internet Explorer. Right-clicking a link now includes an "Open Link Target in IE" menu item. Right-clicking elsewhere in the main body of the page (not within an image, text box, etc.) gives "View This Page in IE.". Nice!
